Laura enjoys treating and educating her patients with the tools that will allow them to help themselves. She believes knowledge is the most powerful tool that allows patients to overcome and understand why their bodies are doing what they are doing.

Laura grew up surrounded by the health care field, with her dad being a dentist and mom working in the field of physical therapy, it shaped what career path she wanted to pursue. She graduated in 2000 with a Master’s of Physical Therapy degree from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. Laura practiced for 19 years in a small rural community hospital treating a variety of patients in all settings. There was a great need in the small community for pelvic health therapy. Since then, Laura has taken numerous classes with the American Physical Therapy Association in the area of pelvic health, pregnancy and postpartum care as well as co- treatment  like functional dry needling, postural restoration, GrastonTechnique, and Myofascial Release. Laura was excited to come join the Midwest Physical Therapy team in 2019 and concentrate on the specialization of pelvic health.

In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, spending days at the lake, cooking, reading, exercising and hiking.
