PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Emily is passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life through movement, empowering them to return to the activities and moments that matter most to them.

She discovered her passion for physical therapy at just 14 years old while accompanying her grandmother to PT visits. She quickly fell in love with the supportive, encouraging environment and knew she wanted to be part of it. That early experience, combined with her own positive experiences with physical therapy following injuries in high school and the guidance of lifelong mentors, inspired her to pursue a career in the field and continue growing within the profession.

She attended Chadron State College, where she continued to pursue her passion for athletics by working as an assistant to the athletic trainer. In this role, she gained hands-on experience supporting athletes across a variety of sports, further strengthening her interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation. The position also provided opportunities to travel and experience new environments, which she greatly enjoyed. She later earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Soren, as well as her family and friends. Together, they love traveling, hiking, boating, and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers.
